Who are we?

Contraphonic is an independent record label based in Chicago. Originally conceived in spring of 2004 as the in-house label for the No Karma Music Group, Contraphonic broke ties entirely with No Karma in early 2007. Pursuing its own course and focus, Contraphonic highlights the eclectic and eccentric of some of the finest artists working in the musical landscape today.
